Since the problem improves after installing a newer Graphics driver, it is still probably the issue? but i have DDU it many times and uninstalled the device but a clean install doesn't change anything. My screen also magically turns off every 5 mins when watching in the Netflix App even though my power plan has been clearly changed to turn off screen after 45 minutes.

It was actually a bit worse with the older drivers (or the ones HP has approved and vetted) where the stutters are longer by like a second and now its just a over achieving micro stutter. I bypassed HP not allowing me to get the latest Intel graphics drivers so mine is 7870 (the newest as of writing).
